Originally intended as the linchpin for an entire Almagest EP, the title track was created as a bit of an experiment to incorporate the human voice into the evolving sound of MB. As the pandemic onset and progressed, I realized that the number of full and partial demos I was sitting on was more than enough to release a full length, and I gravitated away from the idea of releasing an EP.

However the epic nature of the song, and the time I have spent crafting it, has inspired me to release it on its own with the demo of the sister track Heliophant together as they were brewed in the same cosmic stew with the same intention of incorporating the human voice into both.
